Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 July 2026
These Terms govern use of SDKey (sdkey.dev, dash.sdkey.dev, docs.sdkey.dev, api.sdkey.dev), operated by Cesery LLC (“SDKey”, “we”, “us”), 96383 Bay View Dr, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, United States. By creating an account or using the API you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. The service
SDKey provides edge-native license validation, developer tooling APIs, and related dashboard features. Features may evolve; we may change or discontinue functionality with reasonable notice when practical.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys.
- You may delete your account in Settings (password confirmation required).
3. Acceptable use
- Do not abuse, attack, or reverse-engineer the service beyond normal integration.
- Do not use SDKey to violate law or third-party rights.
- Do not submit unlawful personal data or special-category data without a lawful basis and safeguards.
4. Customer content and end users
You retain rights to your license inventory configuration and application data. For end-user personal data processed via our client/auth and validate APIs, you are the controller and Cesery LLC is the processor (see Processor Addendum below). You must provide required notices and legal bases to your end users.
5. Processor Addendum (Art. 28)
When Cesery LLC processes personal data on your behalf as a processor:
- We process only to provide the SDKey APIs/features you configure and as otherwise documented.
- Personnel are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Subprocessors include Cloudflare (Workers, Pages, D1, KV, Turnstile, DNS/CDN, Observability). We will maintain an up-to-date description in the Privacy Policy.
- We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, hashed secrets, access controls, retention purge for security logs).
- We assist with data-subject requests via product tools (user export/delete APIs) and [email protected].
- On account deletion, we delete associated application data (cascading D1 records) subject to short-lived caches and legal retention needs.
- International transfers rely on Cloudflare’s transfer mechanisms (e.g. SCCs) as applicable.
6. Intellectual property
SDKey, branding, and documentation remain Cesery LLC’s or our licensors’. You receive a limited license to use the APIs and SDKs to integrate with the service.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Where liability cannot be limited, it is limited to the greater of fees paid to Cesery LLC for the service in the prior 12 months or €100 / USD $100, except for liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud).
8. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate for material breach, abuse, or legal risk.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the United States, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence if you are a consumer.
